CHOOSEaHOME is our way of letting Council and some Housing Association homes in the Warrington area.
CHOOSEaHOME lets you apply for a home of your choice instead of waiting for an offer that someone else thinks is suitable.
Most available homes are advertised every Thursday in the Warrington Guardian, on this web site and in housing offices. Each week applicants are invited to bid for any of these vacant homes depending on their eligibility. Bids currently close on Mondays at midnight. If there is more than one applicant for each advertised home, the applicant with the highest priority and who has been on the CHOOSEaHOME register the longest will be successful. 1. Approximately half of all houses that we advertise are restricted to Band B, C or D applicants only. 2. Permission is required to keep pets in GGH homes. Permission will be refused if you share your entrance with other residents.
